As a part of the USAID EDGE project organised in cooperation with Strategic Development Consulting, 11 organisations coming from the Western Balkans, Eastern Europe and the Caucasus Region had the opportunity to learn about the existing and forthcoming EU and USAID funding schemes. Moreover, during the 3 day workshop, taking place between the 13th and the 15th of July, the participants worked on improving their proposal writing skills under the guidance of our experts.

The evaluation questionnaires showed that by the end of the workshop, the participants managed to increase their knowledge on the topic by an average of 25%. Additionally, over 90% of the participants found the workshop useful and learned at least 1 new aspect on the topic of fundraising.

On the 2nd and 3rd of December, our experts led a workshop organised as a part of the USAID Business Ecosystem Project for the Macedonian BSO Community. The workshop was organised in cooperation with Strategic Development Consulting and had 9 participating organisations. The aim of the workshop was to familiarise the participants with the forthcoming EU and regional financing programmes as well as to provide them with the knowledge needed to create winning proposals. Our expert used interactive presentational and training techniques, including: experience sharing, group work, videos, case studies, customised recommendations, etc.

By the end of the project, over 90% of the participants confirmed that they increased their knowledge on the topic of fundraising. Moreover, 6 out of 9 organisations contacted us for fundraising support after the completion of the workshop.

In January 2020, our company cooperated with Impact City from the Hague to organise the ‘Make Impact, Get EU Funding’ competition. The aim of the competition was to support SMEs with disruptive technologies to develop project proposals for one of the most competitive EU funding instruments – the EIC Accelerator Pilot. 

Together with RVO and representatives of Impact City, we selected 4 innovative SMEs as winners of the competition. These 4 organisations will have the opportunity to work with our team of experts to prepare high-quality proposals for the EIC Accelerator Pilot or similar funding programmes.

On the 18th of January 2020, our CEO, Simona Trpovska, led the project building workshop, organised by the Euclid Network in Brussels. The workshop was aimed to familiarise the 17 participating organisations with specific funding calls for relevant social enterprises from the EU financing framework. A particular focus was dedicated to the Collaborative Partnerships call from the Erasmus+ programme, as well as the Actions to Boost the Development of Finance Markets for Social Enterprises from the EaSI programme. 

Throughout the workshop, the participants worked in 3 groups to produce proposals for the 2 different calls. They had the opportunity to ask questions and to receive guidance from our expert, enabling them to create the basis for successful submission to one of the two forthcoming calls.
